Those of you familiar with the story of the late Airdrie FC super fan and fundraiser, Mark Allison, will know that the Mallison Spezial from @gary.aspden SPZL range were named in his honour, originally nothing more than a simple gesture of goodwill and support from the curator of the range to Mark during a particularly difficult time to which Mark was over the moon about.

Adidas have now released the “Broomfield”, a shoe based on the Mallison Spezial and named after Mark’s beloved team, Airdrie’s original ground. To acknowledge their origins and back story, a very limited run of the Broomfield featuring Marks face on the tongue have been produced and given to Marks family to help continue his legacy of cancer awareness and fundraising.

These are bound to be much sought after and highly collectible, so with this in mind and to give everyone a fair chance of winning a pair, we will be running a Bonus Ball, lottery system across all forms of social media.

The price of each ticket is £6, with all funds raised going to Maggie’s Hospice in Airdrie, North Lanrkshire, a place close to Mark’s heart and who also helped him during his selfless fight against pancreatic cancer, before finally losing his battle at the age of just 49.

I have included the option of an A4 Broomfield print that can be posted out. Please feel free to share this as far and wide as you can.

Thank you for the continued support and good luck should you purchase a ticket.

You can purchase as many tickets as you wish.
Each ticket is £6. All funds raised will go to the Maggie’s Centre
The competition will run till the end of the month to give everyone a chance to enter.
